Ari tu aku pos pasal UtaraFM, yang telah bersiaran langsung sempena Program Gaya Hidup Sihat anjuran Kementerian Belia dan Sukan Sabah dengan kerjasama Bulan Sabit Malaysia cabang Pitas, telah mula mendapat perhatian daripada beberapa pemimpin di daerah sendiri…(Sebelum ini kurang mendapat perhatian sebenarnya.. itu memang realiti)…

Terima kasih diucapkan kepada Tuan Pegawai Daerah, Encik Justin Akun (Pengerusi Pelaksana) dan VIP-VIP yang hadir kerana menyambut baik kehadiran Utara.FM. Utara.FM dihadiri oleh DJ rumputt, Tuan kulanz, DJ PP, DJ siiputt, DJ mka, wxyz dan wady. .

Maize Festival or also known as “Pesta Jagung” by the local people will be held in Nov, 20th – 22nd, 2009, in Kota Marudu District, about 130 km or two hours drive from Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.

Maize or “jagung” is one of the many agricultural products in the state that has provided an important economic contribution to the lives of mainly the Kadazan-Dusun communities in Kota Marudu.

Just like the other agriculture-based celebrations, this annual festival promises to be another exciting event that should not be missed by any visitor to Sabah. This event serves to highlight the significance of this plant to the people. Of course there will be plenty of fun too with “jagung”…
